The EUPHROSYNE project is based on the cooperation, the active and profitable collaboration of two operational units.
The first one is the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia research unit (UNIMORE RU), involving an interdisciplinary group of researchers belonging to different scientific fields with the aim of including all, and only, the skills necessary for the project to be carried out and for the final objectives to be outlined. In particular, the UNIMORE RU is composed by geomatics engineers (with expertise in geospatial data collection and processing) and electronic engineers (with expertise in metrology and sensor development) from DIEF – Department of Engineering ‘Enzo Ferrari’. The unit also involves ecologists (with expertise in marine ecology) from DSV – Department of Life Sciences.
The second operational unit is ISTI CNR (CNR RU) of Pisa where a group of Information Technologies researchers, focused on Artificial Intelligence, completed the required skills for the success of the project.
